Safety rules for your youngest one

Below you can find some most basic safety rules for the kids.
Making your kid aware of them doesn't cost anything whereas not following them may cost life!
1. Know your name, address and phone number. Ordering a safety bracelet isn't a bad idea too. Works perfectly not only with small children but also with elderly family members.

2. Don't take any gifts given by a stranger and never follow a stranger. An obvious thing.

3. Don't experiment with fire. That means playing with matches, lighter etc.

4. Never walk off the house alone! Ask your parents if one of them can go outside with you.
To school kids or teenagers - try to omit desolated places, esp. after dark. Better call a taxi if you're not sure you would come back home safe and sound.

5. No one is allowed to touch your body. Instruct the kid what's the difference between good and bad touch.

6. If you get lost, stay where you are. It would be much easier to find you;)

7. Never cross the street on your own. Kids are vulnerable to road accidents since they have problems with estimating the risk.

8. Don't approach a lake or a river alone. Even if you know you can swim.

9. Don't play with cables or plugs. Electrocution is not only painful but also dangerous.

10. Never approach an unknown dog or pig. It can snap your hand off.

11. Once you find something interesting to climb (a wall, a fence or ladder) ask your supervisor if you can try it. It  might be unstable or under high voltage.

Naturally, there are more rules, depending on the place or surroundings you're living in. Stay safe!

Foam pictures

I bought a special foam for my kids to play with. The material resembles something between styrofoam and a rubber. It was made as a sticker so the kids don't have to make themselves dirty from glue once they want to fasten what they've cut.

You can buy something similar at every stationery or order online, if you live in the middle of nowhere, like I do ;)

This is what we've done.
I'm sure you'll do it better ;)
My son's friend had birthday, so I did a birthday card for him as well (since I didn't like cards offered by our local shop).
Ready for shipment :D
